Started here for our brunch crawl.  As the host of this event you would have thought there would have been better direction to the day. Instead they let the app be what we used to figure it out.

Upon arrival I was immediately uncomfortable as we were never offered anything.  The three of us literally stood there looking lost yet trying to fit in. It was only noon so hard to judge the overall atmosphere of the bar scene.

We stayed for only a few minutes as we felt like outcasts.  We thought we would go outside and work to figure it out.  Want to return as I have only heard good things about this bar....just not impressed with their hostess abilities.

What a great BIG bar! Loads of tv to watch sports and there's even a mechanical bull!

& the wings?! My goodness so delicious and fulfilling!

If I could give this bar 0 stars I would.

Last night one of the bartenders named Skye jumped across the bar and punched a girl dead in the face. Somehow, the girl got kicked out and it seems like the bartender received no punishment at all. She seemed pretty cozy with the manager so that must be why.

Don't go here unless you want to risk a busted lip. I really hope this girl got fired, and that is the only way I would ever go back here.

I came here with my coworkers for lunch around 11:30am. I believe we were the first ones. It's been many years since I've been to Whiskey River. I do like the space. There's a lot of seating and TVs. It is located upstairs at the Epicentre across from World of Beer. We were immediately seated. I do love how they offer a free appetizer or dessert with a Yelp Check in. I redeemed it on some potato skins. They were pretty good. I ordered the fish tacos for lunch but unfortunately, there were out, which is kind of weird since the restaurant just opened for the day. I ended up ordering the pulled pork sandwich instead with seasonal vegetables. The sandwich was pretty tasty! The downside was that the food took forever to come out. We only have an hour for lunch and food took 45 minutes to come out. I can understand if the restaurant was super busy but it was empty..hopefully that was just an off day.

The location is perfect, the staff is great and the atmosphere is great but the food is not good at all. I ordered the buffalo chicken dip as a starter and it was so dry. Not a lot of dip but tons of chips. For my meal I ordered 10 wings (half maple bacon and half jamaican jerk BBQ) and I could do without either. The maple bacon could use a lot more sauce. I also had a side of fries which were ok. I dont think I'll be back for food but maybe I'll try the bar scene on another visit.
